2015 Newsom Vineyards North Block

31% Mourvèdre, 31% Malbec, 23% Tempranillo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine is a rich, well-balanced red comprised of notes of black cherry, leather, earth, and tobacco. This wine would pair nicely with steak, lamb, or venison.

2016 Newsom Vineyards North Block

60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Malbec
The bouquet on this wine is lush with aromas of kirsch, blueberries, plum, sage, cocoa, white pepper, and vanilla. Medium to full-bodied this wine has a lovely balance between acid and tannin and lingering flavors of cherry, blueberry, and dried herbs.

2017 Newsom Vineyards North Block

53% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Malbec, 5% Petit Verdot
The Newsom North Block is an aromatic wine with earth, leather, spice, chili pepper, currants, blueberries, and canned cherries. The palate is fairly juicy with cherry and blueberry notes followed by some smoke and bramble. Tannin and acid on this wine are balanced making this an excellent food wine.
