This is the 3rd vintage of Lyla. It was lovingly named after our Winemaker’s late dog who was a rescued Shar Pei from the Austin Animal Shelter. One of the shelter staff had humorously noted that Lyla used her “womanly right to be discerning” with new foods and friends. In her spirit, much care was taken to ensure this wine would be as beautiful, unfailing, and complex as she was. We have decided to go with a unconventional blend and we are truly excited by the result. We are excited to be expanding our experience with Roussanne and learning with each vintage.
