The Family Reserve is a blend we have been creating for years to highlight some of our favorite lots from some of our favorite growers. In it’s nature, the blend is nontraditional. This vintage feels very “Family” in a different way in that it is predominately Italian! I’m excited for folks to taste a varietal Teroldego as we continue to source and now grow, this lovely rich red grape. It is inky dark in the cellar with velvetty tannins and mouthfeel—it loves French oak. We added some Petit Sirah and Tempranillo to round out the structure and tannin for ageability. We think folks will really come to love this grape as much as we do.
