2019 Texas Tempranillo Reserve
2019 Texas Tempranillo Reserve

This vintage is one of the last blends to have Kuhlken Vineyards fruit in it before we replanted our vineyard. It is comprised of about 40% Hill Country fruit, distinguishing it from other vintages. Hill Country fruit tends to provide more earthy wine, with notes of cedar and more tannin structure. Due to 2019 being a cooler growing season, this vintage is lighter, resulting in an excellent food pairing wine.

Tasting Notes
The 2019 Tempranillo Reserve has lovely notes of chocolate covered cherries, leather, black currants, cedar, black pepper and bramble, clove and cigar. This medium-bodied wine has a nice acidity that will make it excellent for food pairing.
