This is our fourth vintage of Graciano and it is a grape we have high hopes for moving forward. Graciano can have lovely cherry fruit notes, but also is undoubtedly very big and gnarly with dark fruit, game, iron and spice. We’ve continued to try out different techniques in fermentation and aging each year and feel like we are getting closer to the best expression of Graciano. We are finding that it loves new oak, and we are happy to dedicate much of our new barrel program to it.
