2021 Lyla
2021 Lyla
21PCTXLYLA

This is the second vintage of the Lyla. It was lovingly named after our Winemaker’s late dog who was a rescued Shar Pei from the Austin Animal Shelter. One of the shelter staff had humorously noted that Lyla used her “womanly right to be discerning” with new foods and friends. In her spirit, much care was taken to en-sure this wine would be as beautiful, unfailing, and complex as she was.

The blend is varietally Roussanne and Viognier, and is a traditional Rhone white. 30% of the Roussanne came from the Hill Country Estate of our friends at Kuhlman Cellars. We are excited to be expanding our expereince with Roussanne and learning with each vintage.
