2019 Valhalla
2019 Valhalla

Valhalla is a wine that has seemingly snuck into our lineup. Much like you might try and sneak in an extra serving of pasta when your diet isn’t looking, we have quietly been working on our Italian wine program despite being known for our Rhone and Iberian varieties. The Valhalla is always a non-traditional Italian-style blend and this vintage is no different. We’ve added a dash of Touriga Nacional and Petite Sirah to the base of Sangiovese and Dolcetto for structure and tannin. Sangiovese is a grape happy to be blended and we really enjoy working with it.
