2018 Texas Mourvedre
2018 Texas Mourvedre

This is our second varietal Mourvèdre. We did decide to touch it up a little with the addition of Petit Verdot which brings out more of the dark fruit and richness of the Mourvèdre. We have found this grape to be really fun and versatile to work with - good as Rose, good as a light bodied red, nice as a fuller bodied red. It’s happy in new oak, neutral oak, French or American and is generally really easygoing. There are lots of possibilities and we continue to experiment with all of them. We hope you’ll enjoy trying all the new variations with each vintage.
