2018 Texas High Plains Graciano
2018 Texas High Plains Graciano

This is our third vintage of Graciano and it is a grape we have high hopes for moving forward. Graciano can have lovely fruit notes, but also very gnarly, dark, iron and earth as well. We’ve continued to try out different techniques in fermentation and aging each year and feel like we are getting closer to the best expression of Graciano. For our 2018 vintage we thought that small additions of Syrah and Carignan worked beautifully to highlight both the fruit and earth of this wine.

Tasting Notes
We love the rich dark color of this wine. On the nose, it’s aromatics are lively with cola, cherry fruit leather, tamarind, coffee and clove. Similarly intense on the palate, this wine is full bodied with dark and dried fruit and dried herbs.
