2017 Viognier Reserve
2017 Viognier Reserve

The 2017 Viognier Reserve incorporates a new lot of Viognier coming from Lahey Vineyards in the High Plains. We have been thrilled with the fruit from Lahey and the bright, fruity Viognier has been no exception. With a portion of this wine finishing fermentation in new French Oak barrels, we have worked to strike a balance between vanilla and spice notes and the stone fruit and floral aromas that is characteristic of Viognier.

Tasting Notes
The 2017 growing season was favorable for long ripening and this is evident in this full-bodied Viognier. Highly aromatic, you’ll find a bouquet of white flowers, canned peaches, pear, lime zest, vanilla, and parsley. The palate is full with tropical fruit flavors of pineapple, peach, pear, with a hint of brown sugar and baking spice.
