2017 Block Two
2017 Block Two

It’s been several vintages since we have made our “Block Two” blend, but this year we felt it was time. Essentially a Portuguese-style blend, this wine is comprised of Touriga Nacional and Tempranillo, which is known as Tinto Fino (and about a million other names) in Portugal. As all of our estate fruit, these grapes were hand harvested early in the morning before coming to the winery to be sorted and processed to half ton bins to ferment. Aging was completed in a combination of American oak, including new barrels, second use and neutral.
