By road

From Austin (65 miles):

Drive west on US 290 towards Johnson City. In Johnson City stay on US 290 and continue west towards Fredericksburg. 15 miles west from Johnson City and immediately before hitting Stonewall, make a left onto S Ranch Road 1623. Go straight for 1.5 miles and turn right on Upper Albert Road just as RR 1623 makes a sharp left turn.

Pedernales Cellars is immediately on the left with entry feature visible from both RR 1623 and Upper Albert Road. Enter through gates and proceed along drive way up towards the winery.

From San Antonio (69 miles):

Drive north on US 281 towards Johnson City. In Blanco make a left on 4th Street and continue on S Ranch Road 1623 for 18 miles. Turn left on Upper Albert Road.

Pedernales Cellars is immediately on the left. Enter through gates and proceed along drive way up towards the winery.

From Dallas: (Scenic route, 244 miles)

Take US 67 south to Cleburne. Continue on US 67 to Chalk Hill and then turn left at TX 220 towards Hico. In Hico take US 281 south to Johnson City. In Johnson City take a right on US 290. 15 miles west from Johnson City and immediately before hitting Stonewall, make a left onto S Ranch Road 1623. Go straight for 1.5 miles and turn right on Upper Albert Road just as RR 1623 makes a sharp left turn.

From Dallas: (Highway route, 260 miles).

Take I-35 south to Austin. Drive west on US 290 towards Johnson City. Take I-10 west towards San Antonio. Take exit 632 towards Lockhart / Luling. Drive north on US 183 to Luling. In Luling take TX-80 to San Marcos. Continue west on 12 and then on 32. Turn right on US 281 and drive north for two miles. In Blanco make a left on 4th Street and continue on S Ranch Road 1623 for 18 miles. Turn left on Upper Albert Road.

Pedernales Cellars is immediately on the left. Enter through gates and proceed along drive way up towards the winery.

From Fredericksburg (17 miles):

Take US 290 east towards Stonewall. Immediately after Stonewall, make a right onto S Ranch Road 1623. Go straight for 1.5 miles and turn right on Upper Albert Road just as RR 1623 makes a sharp left turn.

Parking

For visitors arriving by car Pedernales Cellars provides ample parking located adjacent to our tasting room. There is a passenger set down & pickup area immediately in front of the tasting room entrance.
